I kinda feel like Winter Solstice is the real New Year's Eve. Feels like the end of 2022 but I'm not quite stepping intentionally into 2023. I've been sick on and off for weeks, doing some serious lazing around, not having energy to promote our flowers or my calendar during the holiday season, and honestly, besides many moments of sweetness with my daughter, I've also been depressed and irritated and depleted. I keep just wanting like, a few days and nights where I can sleep uninterrupted and be fed nourishing food and float in warm water and read a really good book.
Has anyone else just been down? And never-ending tired? I welcome reflections on the holiday season that aren't perfectly curated home-scenes and cookies. I saw a reel that was recommended to me and it was this beautiful woman in this boho skirt walking thru her French-farmhouse kitchen and stopping to pluck a croissant from a platter. I'm like, WTF, my life (and home) will literally never look like that, nor would I ever have the energy to video myself grabbing a croissant.
I do always have the energy to eat a croissant, preferably from @threeforksnc on Sunday mornings, preferably that someone has brought to me.

Our smaller dried flower bouquets make a great year-end/holiday gift to employees and friends - buy 5 (or more) and pick up these everlasting flower bouquets for only $20 each (normally $30-40). Everlasting bridal bouquets! Order whenever 'cause they'll last forever. Every winter/spring we have folks contact us to see if we can make them dried wedding flowers. Often by then we've used up our best stems! So we're making a few now to be ahead of the game, and to enjoy these last few sunny days at the farm. We'll make some corresponding boutonnieres too, just in case :).
