Always my favorite #craspedia
And yet they never seem to make it thru our winters in our low-lying, cold and wet microclimate.
But not this year! Turns out what they need to flourish is for us to be completely unattached to their survival 😅

They'll be available for sale soon (and taking commissions as I have more time), but for now I'm just enjoying the play and the process. I made the yellow sunburst last spring and it's still shining away. It was the first thing I hung when we moved into our new home a year ago and I'll probably keep it there forever (and I can, because it's everlasting 😉).
Now playing with the other shades of strawflower. I think the ombre orange-fire one is my favorite, though I love the texture and depth of the peachy one. Which one would you pick?
Also I already have my first commission...a pink-to-magenta fade for my kid's room 😉... Stay tuned.

Meanwhile the turkeys are here every morning, and we watch the roost in the pine trees out back every night, and the maple is tossing it's seed pods like little helicopters (or "tiny fairies spinning" says Zea) and this little bit of rain is a blessing.
