Managed to make something with the glass gem corn,

Managed to make something with the glass gem corn, though not quite the dream I had imagined of it as a whole round wreath. My initial attempts made it clear that without a whole load of hot glue it just wasn't gonna fly. But I like how this turned out, even if it's a little janky. I saved my absolutely must favorite ears from our home garden (it was hard to choose!) and I didn't want them wallowing in a box (and for now I have plenty of eating popcorn to last us til next harvest). Although the great thing about this wreath is it's edible, when I'm tired of looking at it I'll just shuck the cobs for popcorn!

Wreath base is grape from my garden, poppy pods from the dashboard of my truck (originally the farm, but many months in my truck), and the last scraps of love-lies-bleeding amaranth.

People sometimes ask, "Do these (dried flowers) really last forever?" - the answer is yes. I have wreaths on my walls from ten years back, still going strong, slightly muted over time in their colors, but just as beautiful. Dried flowers really are a lovely and long-lasting gift!We've got a handful of these mixed bouquets @choquierochocolate this week only - these are the last of our everlasting flowers from this past growing season, it was fun to make them into bouquets and mini-wreaths for a collaboration with our new chocolate friends. And we have less than a day left in our flower/chocolate giveaway, so be sure to enter that asap if you haven't!

Some mini-wreaths, available for Valentine's day. These will be @choquierochocolate shop in downtown Nevada City (opposite the old Broad St Bistro building) where you can pick them up alongside any of the incredibly diverse chocolate treats they offer, almost all of which is either fairtrade, organic, small-batch, vegan, or all of the above! If you want to claim one of these, do so in the comments otherwise first come first serve this weekend! $25 each.
